The Role
This role will give you an opportunity to work on mobile and web applications for external customers of a large utility company and maintain it to a high standard. As a React Native Developer, you would be working for a large utility company of Ireland in latest front-end technologies and in a collaborative environment. You would also be responsible for supporting and maintaining both mobile and web apps (in android & iOS) which will be part of the products available to residential customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Liaise with business users for requirements and getting details around bug/incident.
- Design, build and maintain efficient and reusable code meeting accessibility guidelines.
- Build pixel perfect smooth UI for mobile and web apps.
- Ensure best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Integrate with backend APIs.
- Coordinate with other IT & support teams
- QA, change deployment, publishing apps.
- Create SOP and/or support documents.

Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
- Extensive knowledge of React patterns, such as higher-order components, render props, and hooks.
- Proven experience with the Redux/Zustand state management library, or a similar state management solution.
- Knowledge of React libraries, including its core concepts such as components, state, props, and hooks.
- Familiarity with Git and version control, NPM best practices, native build tools.
- Knowledge of accessibility, responsive web design and cross browser compatibility.
- Experience integrating APIs with the application for back-end services.
Good to have:
- Working knowledge for design tools like FIGMA and design tokens.
- Working experience of APIs/backend in .Net technology.
